What do ghosts think?

This is a rhapsody of ghost stories. Indonesia is moving its new capital from Jakarta to Nusantara (also known as IKN), a brand-new city in Borneo. A Chinese-born anthropology student collects supernatural stories within various communities around the construction site. She encountered local ancestors, president spirit, and the unexpected ghosts on herself. Who are the ghosts haunting the construction site? What do the “ghosts” think? Through letters to her mother, the student seeks the answers about the tensions between the local people and the national project, the costs between a good life and development, and the bonding of the living and the dead.
