Three refugees in Manchester – an athlete, a gardener, and a singer – navigate meaning, belonging, and survival. Told through intimate portraits, Rhubarb reveals the harsh toll of the UK’s hostile environment, and the communities and lives forged despite it. The characters’ stories converge at a bustling meeting, culminating in a powerful display of solidarity.
