A'Buru
A’buru follows the Arhuaco community of Jimaín as they prepare spiritual offerings at sacred sites in La Sierra Nevada, guided by a Mamo. Through rituals using a’buru, the film reflects on Indigenous wisdom and the urgent need to restore territories affected by extractivism and capitalism. It invites us to see the Sierra as a living being and to understand the sacred role of the Arhuaco in maintaining its balance.
This film is part of Shorts Collection 2 - Acts of Sacred Transmission.
